Catherine Clayton
COACH | TRAINER | FACILITATOR
I specialise in coaching leaders and teams who are having an impact on children’s lives. My aim is to improve team performance, sense of purpose and impact so the best outcomes are reached for young people. Why?
Because children deserve adults and leaders working and living from the best version of themselves.
I do this as an accredited Executive Coach, with a background as a senior leader in education and as CEO of a charity working with children in schools. I offer 1:1 coaching, team communication training and reflective interactive walking journeys.
In every bespoke training programme I develop, I weave into it the use of stillness and silence. This is because they lead to increased awareness of how we can be the best version of ourselves for the young people we work alongside, enabling children to thrive.
“As a leader I always find it difficult to really allow myself the time and space to think deeply about the journey my school is on; The Reflective Coaching Journey experience enabled vital time to reflect, be present in and strategise our current school improvement and my next steps as a leader, so that I can continue this roller-coaster ride with a clear purpose and direction.”
Lucy Ottaway - Headteacher, St James CE Primary School.

Reflective Journeys
Reflective Coaching Journeys combine stillness, movement and sensory exercises.
Drawing from their past, their strengths and their passions these reflective spaces will help you and your team work from their best selves and remain aligned with the vision.
“I have a better understanding of how I work and the best ways to communicate with colleagues. This training does in one day what it takes two years to do getting to know people professionally.”
